BORN OF TRADITION
The story of Bucrana was written in Tinta de Toro ink. The present-day winery was born of a time-honoured tradition that dates back centuries, during which the skilled hands of vignerons tended vines in almost inaccessible sites beyond tiny villages overlooked by cliffs in sun-drenched plains tempered by the coolness of the riverbanks where hazardous waters surge along the majestic Duero.
Today we take over the torch, as we seek to take the wines of Toro another step forward in a spirit of adventure but respect. And in so doing, we are connecting the taste of the present-day to a glorious past. We relive that splendour in a bold, cutting-edge bodega committed to its surrounding land, to high quality and to the pure enjoyment of its wines.
